Finally reaching the Age of Descendance, educator angel Aurwen Arian is sent down to Hell to attempt to change the ways of the sinners who reside there. Sent to stay in a small section called Miseryville, he finds himself neighbors with a kind young man named Jimmie Tadcall, who seems to be the only truly nice thing about his current situation. Though, as they find themself falling in love with the blonde boy, they can't help but feel overwhelming guilt -- not even knowing that he was wrongly sent down for being too nice.
