🌈this is very much a work in progress !! this is a page dedicated to an alternate universe for a hyperfixtion of mine. i am still sorting everything out, but i will have it set up as soon as possible !

🌈content warning: this story contains themes of religion, religious guilt, death/murder, and cartoon violence, though they are mostly portrayed in a lighthearted or comedic manner. also, please do not take the subjects portrayed too seriously ! this is not meant to be religious propaganda (our family is christian, and i fully respect it but i am not christian personally).

Jimmie "Twoshoes" Tadcall

Age: 18

Backstory: Raised anglo-catholic, Jimmie Tadcall was a well known, kind and helpful boy in his local community. An avid church-goer and choir singer, he dedicated his time to helping others, and was always filled with boundless optimism people were convinced would be forever present in their town. One day at 16 years old, he curiously tagged along with a group of teens from his school, and found himself caught up in an attempt to communicate with the underworld. Pressured by the group around him, he took the lead, and ended up talking directly to the king of Hell Lucius' son, Benzema. Despite the expected, Jimmie's kindhearted ways ended up rubbing off on Benzema, and the two began to talk frequently. Furious the boy had influenced his son, Lucius had Jimmie killed and brought to suffer in the underworld for eternity-- though, instead, he simply ended up spending more time with his new friend, keeping his ever-optimistic outlook on life. Now, having lived two years in a small section called Miseryville, Jimmie has been slowly getting used to his new life- despite how it seems to go against most ideas he had held for the prior majority of it. One day, an angelic educator moves into his new neighborhood, becoming a new friend of his-- and he's happier than he ever thought possible to spend time with them.

Aurwen Arian

Age: ~19
Gender: Similar to masculine human genders
Pronouns: They, He, It
Species: Educator angel
Backstory: Created as part of an initiative to spread faith to the underworld, Aurwen was one of many born for the role of "Educator", an angel sent down to the underworld every century or so. Usually failing, and likely ending up rather jaded by the end of it, educators do not have a track record of success- and Aurwen is not exactly confident he could change that. Recently sent down, Aurwen is assigned a small area in a section called Miseryville, where they meet a kind man named Jimmy Tadcall. Befriending the young man, they slowly find themself falling in love with him-- which sends them into a panic, under the assumption the man was sent there for good reason, not to mention him being human. Though always happy to spend time with him, it isn't quite sure how to feel, though they know deep down more than anything that they would like to spend the rest of eternity with him.

Helouise Jane Doe

Backstory: Young murderer and troublemaker sent to Hell after her early death. Works for Lucius, though she doesn't like him. Friends with Jimmie, tolerates Beezy, has very mixed feelings about Aurwen. (w.i.p)

Benzema "Beezy" J Heinous

Age: 18
Gender: Demonboy
Pronouns: He, It
Species: Brenihellspawn
Backstory: Son of Lucius Heinous VII, and the prince of Hell. One of Jimmie's best friends, and the reason he got dragged down. Generally nice, but can be a bit self-centered. (w.i.p)

Lucius Heinous VII

Gender: Evil Twisted Messed Up Guy

Species: Brenihellspawn
Backstory: The misery-loving king of Hell. Hates Jimmie on a very personal level. (w.i.p)

Notes and Trivia !

  • Brenihellspawn are a species of hellspawn exclusive to the royal family of Hell, defined by their unique black blood. Benzema (Beezy) and Lucius VII are two notable examples.
  • Hellspawn are natural born residents of Hell, either the offspring of other hellspawn or The Damned. They have no specific look, though they commmonly have things such as horns, fans, wings and tails. They often appear as a mix of several animals, most commonly avians, cervidae and felines. How willing they are to hurt others varies, but they are generally mischevious, even if they mean well. Their blood is a dark purple.
  • Angels are natural born residents of Heaven. They are considered holy beings. There are various types, usually being born for a specific task. All angels have halos, though their appearance widely varies. Wings are very common, but not all angels have them. Their most common blood colors are shades of silver.
  • Educator angels are angels created to spread faith to Hell, though they have not had much luck so far. One is typically sent down every century, though this may change depending on how long the previous one spends there. Their halo takes the form of a large, circular horn, and their wings are typically smaller than most angels. They may or may not have tails. They have a humanoid monster-like appearance, typically having very short white or blue fur. Their blood is copper. Aurwen is a notable example.
  • The Damned are deceased humans bound to Hell, generally for refusing to repent for their sins, though some are sent if they had died before reasonable change could be made. They commonly have corpse-like appearances, though what stage of death they appear as being in varies. They generally have horns, adorning ram-like horns if they were repeat sinners, or raindeer-like horns if they had done minimal sin and were otherwise pure. Their blood is a dark blue. Helouise is a notable example.
  • The Pure are deceased humans who have ascended to Heaven, having either done no sin or repented. They commonly keep their living appearances exactly, though they may change to a more ideal form, such as a time of youth they felt the best at, or having additional limbs such as wings. They may also have any desired mental changes, such as improved mood stability, or forgetting traumatic memories. Their blood, in the rare instance it is shed, is golden.
  • Jimmie is stuck in between The Damned and The Pure, keeping his living appearance (though with the injuries from his murder), but lacking either horns or any desired bodily or mental changes. His blood is iridescent blue.
